The Missouri Big Band is a swinging, screaming and roaring 17-piece St. Louis Big Band with a vocalist that celebrates the best Swing and Jazz big band music of all time.

Founded in the fall of 2013, The MOBB features well-known music from such iconic big bands as Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Benny Goodman, Glenn Miller, Woody Herman, and original compositions by band members.

Led by lifetime music educator and musician Joe Pappas, this St. Louis area big band plays a variety of Jazz, Swing and Jazz-Standard music that appeals to all ages. From the classic “In the Mood” to Sinatra classic's.
